Google Shopping: Compare & buy App Reviews

Hits all my major concerns on online shopping. Think google will be bigger than Amazon some day good job guys. Can’t rate the customer service never had to call.

I use this to buy stuff from Walmart. While it’s easy to use (even the Walmart app is) but the disappointing fact is all products are not available.

Ohh god...such a crap from Google..!!! Tried to give 0. Pchh...not possible. I have a $25 worth of walmart coupon and I shopped for around $45 dollors and I couldnot place the order. There is no proper information message displayed atleast and instead it always kept telling me to change the cards. I changed 2 cards and finally gave up. I pity on the team who developed this wonderful app and the content management team too..KUDOS.

I ordered a iPad 10.5inch 64GB on Nov 27th, 2017 through the Google Express app. The delivery estimated date was Nov 28th. But I had not received my order until Nov 29th. I also didnt get any notification about my order. So I contacted customer center. The customer service agent said; You are going to receive an email tomorrow. We are going to explain what is going on your order... Finally I got an email from Google Express. It says, YOUR ORDER WAS CANCELED... Great! Its good to know!! Thanks Google!!! If you would have let me know the item was out of stock when I placed the order, I could have taken advantage of another sale on Cyber Monday. Now all the sales are over!

Prices may Be a dollar or two more on an item, however to me it is well worth it. I would have to go 50 miles round-trip to Costco, and Try to find a place to park up Close as I am handicapped and wait in lines. So very glad that I found this site and recommend it to everyone.

Good stuff

I ordered a external hard drive from Fryes Electronics through Google Express early on Black Friday. Four days later my order gets rejected for a pricing error. I used my $10 off for a first time purchase code and it was a Black Friday sale price. There was no error. Now Ive missed the opportunity to purchase this item through another vendor at a decent sale price due to this stupidity. Google Express nor Fryes will do anything to make this right except empty apologies. I will never use this service again.

They will just cancel your order after 4 days and tell you it’s out of stock. Then the store site says in stock and customer service people just give you a bunch of excuses.

Not fair way for doing business If you are out of stock you should not take orders , instead you took order and cancelled it after a time . I was in peace that my order was placed, next morning i see in my email order cancelled!!

Amazon has always been an amazing app but now there is something i can go back and forth between. This app searches all potential stores (i.e. Target, Walmart, etc) for what you type in the search bar. When placing the order, Google will place one Order for two individual stores. Efficient, easy, highly recommended.

Love this service but we need an Amazon Prime like yearly subscription that also includes music and movies. Thank you.

Placed order for Christmas and only 1 of 3 items arrived. The other 2 were cancelled by Target. If I go back on the site, I can reorder the items but I have ZERO confidence that it won’t happen again. I’ll stick with Amazon, even if it’s a premium price.

System crapped out today. Updating payment information took a dump.over 30 minutes to enter a new credit card info.

Express wanted to charge me 12% for food orders to Pennsylvania... that is illegal and should be investigated by Pennsylvania AG and PA dept of revenue.

This app is handy and useful. Intuitive interface.

Love the service and love the ease of the app. Now I rarely step out of the house to go shopping for necessities! ?

Just downloaded the app despite mixed reviews. Did a search for my dog’s food. Sine the shipper was listed I checked the price from the vender. While the app offered free shipping, it was also $7.00 more which explains “free” shipping plus you can’t use coupons. Not worth it

I was shopping online through normal Google, and I saw a link for something I wanted at a great price through "Google Express" I put the item that I wanted into my cart, and I started to shop through the online portal. After about five minutes I realize there was an app, and I downloaded the app. Even though I was logged in automatically, I didnt see the item in my cart anymore. I searched for the item on the app, and couldnt find it from the provider listed at the price I wanted. I went back to my Chrome page where I had it brought up, and it was missing out of the cart there as well. I went back and tried to use the link I had originally followed, and it claimed that that the item No longer existed. All in the timeframe of about 10 minutes. The whole reason I had even opened Google Express and downloaded the app was gone almost immediately. Other online retailers keep an eye on their stock and hold things in your cart. Apparently Google express does not. I was really excited for the platform, but a sad initial experience may keep me from trying this out for a while. Im not going to purchase the other two items that I put in my cart because of it. Ill probably try them out when their platform is better & doesnt allow for false positives (also, the thought that you would put something in your cart and not immediately be alerted that it was taken out, is a little worrying to me, because I am a little absent minded, and generally forget to double check my order before I place it. I would never catch that they had taken something out without telling me. (Like they did to me just now - I only noted because I was only getting 3 things.)

I dont know why anyone would want to use this app/service to buy. You cant use store coupons, promos, etc., and you cant use store gift cards to purchase. The customer service for Google Express is also atrocious. I would avoid this like the plague.
